Learning Analytics war ein Schwerpunktthema auf der diesjährigen eLearning-Konferenz der Gesellschaft für Informatik in Freiburg. Agathe Merceron und Albrecht Fortenbacher präsentierten ein Poster, auf welchem Erfahrungen mit LeMo in der Hochschullehre, sowie eine erste Evaluierung von LeMo für Lehrende vorgestellt wurden.
Auf dem Pre-Konferenz-Workshop „Learning Analytics“ wurden zwei Paper zu Lemo vorgestellt: ein generisches Datenmodell, was nicht nur für das Tool Lemo von Bedeutung ist, und die Überprüfung von Lernpfaden in einem Blended-Learning-Setting durch die Berechnung häufiger Pfade (LeMo).

Agathe Merceron and Albrecht Fortenbacher presented a poster, which showed our experiences with the tool LeMo for teaching, and a first evaluation of LeMo.
Two papers were presented on the Pre-Conference Workshop „Learning Analytics“: a generic data model for learning analytics, which adopts concepts from the MoocDB initiative, and a case study, where learning paths in a blended-learning setting are verified by frequent-paths analysis of lemo.

LeMo beim VFH-Symposium 2014 in Lübeck
Am 19. – 20.06.2014 fand das jährliche Symposium der VFH Virtuelle FachHochschule in Lübeck statt. In Ihrem Vortrag „Learning Analytics und Visualisierung mit LeMo“ zeigte Prof. Dr. Merceron, wie LeMo Lehrende bei der Überprüfung ihrer Lehrmethoden unterstützen kann. Als Beispiel wählte sie einen Kurs, der an das Lehr-Konzept „Flipped Classroom“ angelehnt war. Mit LeMo konnte die Lehrkraft Zusammenhänge zwischen Quiz in der Vorbereitungsphase und Tests im Unterricht untersuchen.The annual symposium of the „VFH Virtuelle FachHochschule“ (Virtual University of Applied Sciences) took place on June 19-20, 2014 in Lübeck, Germany. During her talk „Learning Analytics and Visualisation with LeMo“ Agathe Merceron demonstrated how LeMo can support teachers to check the impact of their teaching methods. As an example, she took a course which followed the flipped classroom concept. The teacher could investigate relations between quizzes solved at home and tests solved in class.
LeMo bei LAK14 – Workshop CLA
Im Rahmen des Workshops „Computational Approaches to Connecting Levels of Analysis in Networked Learning Communities“ in Indianapolis / USA führte Prof. Dr. Agathe Merceron am 24.03.2014 LeMo vor. Der Workshop fand bei der Tagung Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK) 2014 statt. Das Tool LeMo kann Nutzer-Pfade durch das Lernmaterial berechnen und darstellen. Die Teilnehmer fanden dieses Merkmal besonders interessant.The tool LeMo was presented at the workshop „Computational Approaches to Connecting Levels of Analysis in Networked Learning Communities“ on March 24, 2014 in Indianapolis / USA by Agathe Merceron. The workshop was co-located with the international conference Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK) 2014. A unique feature of LeMo is the visualisation of user paths through learning objects. Participants found this feature particularly interesting.
