Die Konferenz über Educational Data Mining fand dieses Jahr in Memphis statt und Frau Prof. Merceron hielt ein Tutorial über den Einsatz der Software „Rapid Miner“ und stellte in einer interaktiven Demo-Präsentationssession den Beitrag „Visual Exploration of Interactions und Performance with LeMo“ vor.

The EDM 2013 took place in Memphis this year and Prof. Agathe Merceron held a Tutorial about the usage of Rapid Miner and presented a interactive Demo on „Visual Exploration of Interactions and Performance with LeMo„.
Kontakte mit Kollegen der Carnegie Mellon Campus Qatar, der Universität von Cordoba und des MIT, Boston waren besonders anregend. Am MIT werden Daten von Moocs analysiert. Der Ansatz, ein Datenmodel zu bilden, hat starke Ähnlichkeiten mit dem Ansatz in LeMo.
