Vom 29. April – 2. Mai fand die zweite Konferenz zu Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK 2012) in Vancouver statt. Hier war Frau Prof. Agathe Merceron mit einem Beitrag zu Investigating a Coregroup-Effekt in Usage of Ressources with Analytics vertreten.
Im Weiterbildungsblog schreibt Jochen Robes über die LAK und zitiert einen Beitrag Audrey Watters aus Hack Education dazu, was Learning Analytics im Angesicht des gesamten Spannungsfeld seiner Einflussfaktoren bedeutet: “It means learning analytics (verb-direct object, not adjective-noun, I mean). It means learning statistics.”
Die zweite auf die Analyse von Lerndaten spezialisierte internationale Konferenz ist die Educational Data Mining ( EDM 2012) die in diesem Jahr vom 19. – 21. Juni in Chania (Griechenland) stattfindet. Hier wird LeMo mit einem Posterbeitrag vertreten sein.
From April the 29th until May the 2nd, the second conference on Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK 2012) was held in Vancouver. Prof. Agathe Merceron was presenting a Paper on “Investigating a core group effect in Usage of Resources with Analytics”.
The other international conference focusing on this topic is the Conference on Educational Data Mining (EDM 2012) from June the 19th – 21st in Chania (Greece). LeMo was represented there by a poster presentation.
